| 3rd Intertanional Tennis Fellowship Of Rotarians |

Mr. Governor, |

I am a fellow of the Rotary Club in Salerno (D2100-Italy) and I have been appointed "Tour Director for Europe" of the ITFR (International Tennis Fellowship of Rotarians) just a few weeks ago. |
|
The widespread diffusion of "Rotarian Fellowships" in Europe under the motto "to serve while having a good time" represents a further and extraordinary opportunity for our Clubs to enjoy international experiences for building friendship relationships and carrying out solidarity projects also by sport activities. |
|
Publicizing the existence of the ITFR among all European Districts and Clubs is the first aim of my mandate, in order to increase the participation of all fellows who practice or who are fond of this sport. Besides the promotion of the ITFR we also want to know the so many events already existing and being promoted by Rotarians through tennis, with the aim of increasing and publicizing them all over the world.

In 2007 the most important yearly event in the Rotarian tennis world will take place in Italy. The International ITFR Board has decided to organize the next World Championship in Italy (3rd ITFR World Championship-Rotarians' Tennis Meeting-Italy). This event is going to take place in September 2007 in Salerno.

It will be a meeting opportunity for all Rotarians who practice tennis, also for those who are only fond of this sport, as well for those who wish to spend a week together with friends coming from all over the world with the aim of carrying out important solidarity projects. |
|
For this reason, dear Illustrious Rotarian friend, I ask you all Your support to this event, and specially if you can provide for a widespread advertisement of it to all Clubs and then to all fellows of the District. A timely publication on the District Web-site and on the web-sites of Clubs, and in the District and Club magazines, of the news on this event, are certainly essential instruments for diffusing them as quickly as possible. To such an end, I enclose herein the files of the first promotional "slides" of the ITFR and of the world Championship.

It would be really helpful if I could receive the mailing list of Clubs (e-mail addresses of Presidents and Secretaries) in order to directly communicate with them and send them all information.

Any other kind of support and participation the District and Clubs would like to provide, will be surely useful for arranging a really special Rotarian meeting. |
